Making the decision to seek rehabilitation for a substance use disorder is one of the biggest decisions for a person struggling with addiction will make. Fortunately, with the right programs and support system, it becomes the best decision of their life.
Rehab is care that can help you get back, keep, or improve abilities that you need for daily living.
If you are struggling with addiction and you are ready for a change, then you should join one of our substance abuse rehab programs. At Serenity Treatment Center of Louisiana, we offer several substance abuse rehabilitation programs that can help you start or continue your recovery.
There are several treatment program options available at Serenity Treatment Center of Louisiana’s campuses. Our Mid-Town Campus main focus is Detox. All our programs offers its own benefits and expected outcomes.
Our residential (intensive inpatient) treatment program is designed to help you start your recovery. The program has you move into the facility for 30 days so that you can escape the things that triggered your addiction and teach you the skills you need to stay sober and live a better life.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) gives you access to treatment options without moving into the facility. People stay in the program for up to 12 weeks, meeting three days a week for treatment. You can attend during day sessions or night sessions, depending on your needs.
The most important part of this decision is to choose the program that is right for you. We can help you make that decision before you check into the program.
In most cases, you should choose the Residential Program if:
● You have not started your recovery yet
● You live where there are a lot of triggers for your addiction
● You need supervision to stay sober
● You need the most intensive treatment and/or other treatment options that have not worked for you in the past
Residential treatment is the more intense option, which is exactly what many people need to start their recovery. Once you complete this program, you can step down to the intensive outpatient program to continue treatment while integrating back into your life.
You should choose the IOP when:
● You have already completed the Residential Program
● You have obligations that you cannot be away from for 30 days
● You are continuing your recovery from another program
● You relapsed, got clean, and need more support to start your sobriety again
Intensive Outpatient Treatment is often used as a continuation of treatment after a more intensive option. There is less supervision, so it is important to have a firm foundation for your sobriety first.
Our goal is to help you overcome substance abuse and start your recovery. To that end, we combine a variety of clinical treatment methods with the 12-Step Progam. CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, is one of the most trusted third-party accreditation organizations in the addiction rehab space. It ensures that our programs are able to provide the help that you need to overcome your addiction.
