Cherie Guidry

Cherie Guidry is the Clinical Director of The Serenity Treatment Center. She has been a dedicated employee with us since we opened in 2014; however has been working in the addiction field since 2012. Throughout her time in this field she has worked her way through various positions such as mental health technician, admissions, inpatient counselor, intensive outpatient counselor, assistant clinical director, and has now transitioned into her current role in the facilities.

Cherie holds dual licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well as a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). She obtained her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2010, and then attended graduate school at Liberty University where she graduated with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling (LPC) in 2020. Additionally, Cherie obtained her LAC with the Addiction Disorder Regulatory Authority Board in 2020.

Cherie is a highly motivated and has found her calling through working with those suffering from addiction disorders. She works passionately to provide a safe environment in which clients are able to begin their healing process, as well as obtain education into their addiction.
