Jeff Monroe

Jeff Monroe is the Director of Operations with The Serenity Treatment Center. He holds credentials as a Registered Addiction Counselor (RAC) through the Addictive Disorder Regulatory Authority and a graduate of the University of Louisiana Monroe, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Since entering the behavioral health and substance use treatment field in March 2016, Jeff has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families impacted by addiction while supporting organizations in delivering quality, ethical, and compliant care.

From 2016 through 2020, Jeff served as a Facility Manager for a substance use treatment organization, overseeing daily operations and ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for clients. In 2020, he transitioned into a Corporate Compliance leadership role, where he became responsible for regulatory compliance, operational oversight, accreditation readiness, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives across multiple treatment campuses throughout Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Abbeville, Louisiana.

Throughout his career, Jeff has worked closely with clinical, medical, and administrative teams to strengthen organizational performance, enhance patient outcomes, and maintain adherence to state, federal, and accreditation standards. His experience spans residential treatment, outpatient services, operational management, workforce development, and healthcare compliance.

In addition to his professional experience, Jeff brings a unique personal perspective to the field. Having maintained continuous recovery from alcohol since January 6, 2015, he remains passionate about serving individuals affected by substance use disorders. His personal recovery journey fuels his commitment to helping those who are still suffering from addiction find hope, healing, and longterm recovery. Jeff continues to support the recovery community throughout Baton Rouge, Louisiana advocating for compassionate care and evidence-based treatment that changes lives.
